36-Hour Hackathon | Vibrant 2 K26: Build • Innovate • Impact: The 36-Hour Hackathon is a Flagship Tech Event Under Vibrant 2 K26 , Organized by Vibeesta Creative Society and Shrinik Club of G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management . Vibrant 2 K26 Is a Two-Day Inter-College Celebration Bringing Together Technology, Creativity, Innovation, and Expression on 16 & 17 October 2026 . The 36-Hour Hackathon Invites Passionate Developers, Innovators, Problem-Solvers, Designers, and Technology Enthusiasts to Come Together and Transform Ideas Into Innovative Solutions for Real-World Challenges. Participants Will Get 36 Hours to Ideate, Build, Test, Refine, and Present Their Solutions Before a Panel of Judges. Objective: The Objective of The Hackathon Is to Encourage Participants To: Solve Real-World Problems Using Technology. Develop Innovative and Practical Solutions. Think Creatively and Approach Problems Differently. Build Functional Prototypes Within a Limited Timeframe. Collaborate and Learn from Fellow Innovators. Showcase Their Technical and Problem-Solving Abilities. Eligibility: The Hackathon Is Open to Students from Diverse Academic Backgrounds. Eligible Participants Include: Undergraduate Students. Postgraduate Students. Engineering Students. Management Students. Arts, Commerce & Science Students. Law Students. Medical Students. Students from Other Disciplines. Participants from Different Colleges and Institutions are Welcome to Participate. Team Size: Each Team Can Have 2-4 Members . Participants May Participate Individually or As a Team. Team Members Must Provide Accurate Information During Registration. A Participant Cannot Be a Member of Multiple Teams for The Same Hackathon. Hackathon Format: The Hackathon Will Be Conducted as A 36-Hour Innovation and Development Challenge . Participants Will Progress Through the Following Stages: 1. Registration: Participants Register Through Unstop and Provide All Required Details. 2. Problem Statement / Challenge: Participants Will Receive or Select the Relevant Challenge/problem Statement According to The Instructions Provided by The Organizers. 3. Ideation: Teams Analyze the Problem, Brainstorm Ideas, Identify the Proposed Solution, and Plan Their Approach. 4. Development: Teams Begin Developing Their Solution During the 36-Hour Hackathon Period. 5. Testing & Refinement: Participants Test Their Solution, Identify Issues, Improve Functionality, and Prepare Their Final Prototype. 6. Submission: Teams Submit Their Project and Required Deliverables Before the Specified Deadline. 7. Presentation & Demonstration: Shortlisted Teams Will Present and Demonstrate Their Solutions Before the Judging Panel. 8. Evaluation & Results: Projects Will Be Evaluated According to The Announced Judging Criteria, Following Which the Winners Will Be Declared. Suggested Domains: Participants Are Encouraged to Explore Innovative Solutions in Areas Such As: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Web & Mobile Applications. Fin Tech. Health Tech. Ed Tech. Cybersecurity. Sustainability & Environment. Smart Cities. Automation. Social Impact. Emerging Technologies. Other Technology-Driven Solutions. Participants Are Encouraged to Think Beyond Conventional Approaches and Focus on Innovation, Feasibility, Usability, and Real-World Impact . Submission Requirements: Teams May Be Required to Submit: Project Title. Problem Statement. Solution Overview. Working Prototype / Project. Source Code / Git Hub Repository. Presentation/ppt. Technical Documentation. Technologies Used. Demo Link, Where Applicable. Brief Explanation of The Solution and Its Potential Impact. The Organizers Will Communicate the Final Submission Format and Requirements to Registered Participants. Judging Criteria: Projects Will Be Evaluated on Parameters Such As: Innovation & Creativity . Problem Understanding & Relevance . Technical Implementation . Functionality & Working Prototype . Practicality & Feasibility . Potential Impact . Presentation & Demonstration . The Detailed Judging Methodology and Weightage Will Be Communicated by The Organizers. Rules & Guidelines: Participants Must Complete Their Registration Before the Specified Deadline. Each Team Must Consist of 2-4 Members . Participants Must Provide Accurate Information During Registration. All Submitted Work Must Be Original. Plagiarism or Unauthorized Use of Another Participant's Work May Result in Disqualification. Teams Must Develop and Complete Their Solution Within the Designated 36-Hour Hackathon Period . All Required Submissions Must Be Submitted Before the Specified Deadline. Participants May Use Relevant Open-Source Libraries, Frameworks, Ap Is, and Development Tools, Subject to The Organizers' Guidelines. Any Third-Party Resources Used in The Project Should Be Appropriately Acknowledged Wherever Applicable. Teams Must Be Able
