About MOSIP Decode: MOSIP Decode is a virtual hackathon designed to encourage contributions to MOSIP's open-source platform from the student community! As a globally recognised Digital Public Good, MOSIP helps governments conceive, develop, implement, and own foundational digital ID systems in their countries. Countries adopt MOSIP with the help of local experts to customise the platform to suit their requirements, but these needs are diverse and have endless potential for solutions. This is where MOSIP Decode comes in. This hackathon offers students the opportunity to learn from industry experts and propose solutions for national digital infrastructure that has been adopted by 31 countries to date across Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Develop code that aligns with MOSIP's guiding principles of modularity, scalability, security, and privacy, and stand a chance to: Win from a prize pool of USD 5,000. Secure an internship with MOSIP to refine and integrate your solution into a globally implemented platform. Problem Statements: Automated Conformance Testing for Injicertify and InjiVerify against OpenID Suite Complexity Level: Medium Build an automated harness that spins up Inji Certify and Inji Verify, programmatically drives the OpenID Foundation conformance suite's REST API to run the issuer and verifier test plans against each component, and feeds the results into each module's existing api-testrig - as one suite per module, with an optional combined run - producing consolidated, benchmark-gated reports with CI/CD integration. Inji Interop Playground A Unified Sandbox for Verifiable Credential Interoperability Testing Complexity Level: High Enable the Desktop and Android Registration Clients to process face image streams from biometric devices, perform face liveness and Presentation Attack Detection (PAD), and automatically guide residents, operators, and supervisors through active facial challenges when required to establish that the captured face belongs to a live person. Enable Native SSO in eSignet Go for Mobile Apps Complexity Level: Medium Implement OpenID Connect Native SSO in eSignet (Go) to enable seamless, secure single sign-on across multiple native apps signed by the same vendor, installed on the same device. Team Participation: Teams can consist of up to 5 members. You can either form a team with friends or request to join an existing team. Problem Statements: Your solution must cater to one of the 4 specific Problem Statements. Intellectual Property: On request, you are required to contribute the source code of your solution to MOSIP. Originality Requirement: Solutions must be original and innovative. Any form of copying or borrowing ideas will result in disqualification. Submission Policy: You may submit your hack multiple times. The last submission before the deadline will be considered the final entry. Submission Details: Provide an overview of the Problem Statement along with a 1-2 page document or 5-7 slide pitch detailing your solution. Allowed Resources: You may utilise open-source libraries, datasets (e.g., Kaggle, Hugging Face), and freely available systems/services (e.g., Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds).
